Call 911 if this is a medical emergency or go to the nearest emergency room. Give the emergency room the name of your doctor at Moffitt.

For other medical problems, please do the following: Call the number of the clinic at which you are seen during normal working hours or the Moffitt main operator at 813-745-4673 and ask for the doctor on call.
o If you live out of town, you may call toll-free at 1-800-456-3434.

Your doctor may choose to have you evaluated in Moffitt's Direct Referral Center (DRC). The DRC is a consult service for Moffitt patients who have an oncology-related problem or symptom. It is open 24 hours, 7 days a week. All patients seen in the DRC must be referred by a Moffitt attending physician. Your doctor will give you directions to the DRC once you are referred for evaluation.
