Psychiatric and Psychological Services
During the course of cancer treatment, some patients or family members may experience periods of clinical depression or heightened anxiety that impedes optimal functioning. Psychiatrists and clinical psychologists are available to provide psychiatric assessments, conduct psychotherapy and oversee medical management. Neuropsychological Testing
A neuropsychologist in the Psychosocial & Palliative Care Program conducts comprehensive evaluations. A neuropsychological evaluation is a comprehensive assessment of cognitive and behavioral functions using a set of standardized tests and procedures.
