Impact of LHRH Agonists on Cognitive Function in Prostate Cancer

The primary aim is to determine if men demonstrate poorer cognitive functioning and also to explore the relationship between cognitive functioning and other health outcomes (e.g., quality of life, fatigue, and hot flashes) while receiving LHRH agonists for treatment of prostate cancer as compared to men with no history of cancer matched for age, education, and geographic residence.

Stress Management & Exercise Training During Cancer

To compare the relative impact of stress management training and exercise training on quality of life during chemotherapy treatment; to determine whether a combined stress management and exercise training intervention has an additive or synergistic impact on quality of life relative to stress management training alone and exercise training alone and to investigate the mechanisms by which stress management training and exercise training improve quality of life.
