Neuro-Oncology Program
General Neurology
The Department of Neuro-Oncology at the Moffitt Cancer Center has extended services to include general neurology consults. Dr. Edward Pan and Dr. John Leavengood are offering more services to accommodate Moffitt patients during a time of increased traveling costs and in efforts to reduce the time of finding a neurologist.

Brain tumors, neoplastic meningitis and brain metastasis always take priority.
The Department of Neuro-Oncology has the ability to perform state-of-the-art digital electroencephalograms (EEG) and nerve conduction studies + electromyography (NCS/EMG). We can conduct routine EEGs and prolonged monitoring to pinpoint epileptiform foci and be able to treat patients with seizures and brain tumors accordingly. Remote EEG monitoring is also available, as well as visual evoked potentials (VEP), brain stem auditory evoked potentials (BAEP) and somatosensory evoked potentials (SSEP).
Electromyography (EMG) helps us manage our neurology patients with neuro-muscular disorders such as neuropathies (nerve disease), radiculopathies (nerve root disease) and myopathies (muscle disease). EMGs can be arranged through Dr. Pan, to be done by Dr. Leavengood.
